Quick Lube Technician (Entry Level) – Automotive

As a quick lube tech, you’ll start by being responsible for inspecting and lubricating vehicles quickly and thoroughly. Job Responsibilities

Perform multipoint inspections
Communicate additional service/repair needs to service advisors
Service universal joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles using hand- or compressed-air powered grease guns
Inspect fluid levels in steering gears, power steering reservoirs, transmissions, differentials, rear axle housings and shackles
Check tire pressure
Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil
Add water to radiator and battery
Replace oil and air filters
Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards and codes of conduct
Follow dealership safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt and harsh chemicals
Compensation
Compensation is based on experience and commensurate with Fortune 500 companies.
Qualifications

Must meet dealership’s requirements for employment
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and information
Familiarity with all aspects of automotive repair/maintenance
Must have a valid driver license and be able to operate manual transmissions
Prior experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice preferred
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Occasional exposure to inclement weather
Ability to operate an automobile
Prolonged periods of standing, stooping and bending
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Requires a significant amount of walking and/or standing. May also require working in the seated position for long periods while operating controls with arms and legs. This position may also require working at a production pace while pushing and/or pulling materials from place to place.

Business Development Center (BDC) Representative
The Business Development Center Representative is responsible for receiving all incoming sales calls, establishing relationships with customers and scheduling appointments for the Service Department.
The BDC Representative interacts daily with the BDC Manager, Service Advisors, support staff and customers.
Responsibilities

Receiving inbound phone calls and leads
Identifying the client's needs and scheduling appointments
Ensuring all clients concerns are addressed prior to appointment date such as cost, warranty questions, appointment duration, etc
Contacting clients prior to appointment date to confirm appointment
Following up post visit to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Extensive customer service, sales, or telemarketing background
Computer literacy, strong organizational and follow-up skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Excellent problem solving skills
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service throughout the customer's experience
Serve as an advocate to Pat Lobb Toyota by sharing the brand.

Cashier/Rental Car Specialist
Pat Lobb Toyota of McKinney is seeking a Cashier/Rental Car Specialist for our Service department. This position will perform the cashier and rental car activities of the dealership through accurate billing and communication with customers and employees. It is responsible for assisting with customer needs relating to the service, repair or rental of vehicles while ensuring that each customer is treated as an individual, with care and respect. Our service hours are 7am-7pm Monday through Friday and 7am-3pm on Saturday with rotating schedules to accommodate these hours.
Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers promptly.
Provide timely, friendly and professional customer service.
Listening to customer inquiries and requests, asking questions to identify service needs, resolving customer concerns.
Answer all customer telephone calls promptly, courteously, and make every effort to satisfy the caller’s inquiry.
Collect all payments from customers, extended warranty companies, and others.
Obtain customer contact information.
Review invoice details with customers.
Assist in closing out all customer repair order and rental tickets.
Identify, recommend, and support opportunities for process improvement.
Update customer’s service history, schedule appointments, enter repair order information.
Follow up, resolve, and communicate resolution of customer concerns.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Experience using email, Internet and Microsoft Office
Valid in-state driver's license
Previous customer service experience in retail preferred
